Reviews and Ratings
I stayed in the cabins which were definitely on the basic side, more of a shed with a double bed. The linens were a bit dated and scratchy, and it was unfortunate that there weren't any towels or an ensuite bathroom. While the heat made for an uncomfortable stay and I found it not worth the price, the overall campsite seemed well-maintained with friendly staff.
My experience at this holiday park was a pleasant surprise. The family room was spacious and well-equipped, and although it faced a busy road, the noise didn't bother us at all. The proximity to Lake Te Anau was truly a highlight, making our stay enjoyable. However, the room layout was a bit odd with no doors separating the sleeping areas, which could be inconvenient for larger families.
I had a great stay at this place. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, which was perfect for my two-night getaway. The facilities are excellent and cater to a range of guests, from families to solo travelers. The only downside was the inconvenience of the removed bins in the kitchen areas, which made cooking a bit frustrating. Overall, it offers good value for money, especially given its location by the lake.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the early check-in and beautiful lake views were highlights. On the other hand, the noise from the paper-thin walls was quite disruptive, especially for the kids. The room was clean, but the shower head was a disappointment. I doubt I would stay here again due to the noise issue.
I was quite disappointed with my experience at this hotel. While the cabins were clean, they did not match the pictures I'd seen online. It felt more like a basic setup rather than the standard double room I expected, leaving me upset about the upgrade cost. The good news is that the shared facilities were clean and modern, and staff were trying their best despite being overwhelmed during busy times.
